Breast cancer kills women of all ages

Health insurance is a fun things these days! This article made me so sad and I have heard so many like it, of young women getting breast cancer at an early age. I myself had an aunt in law that died of the disease younger than 40. She simply missed a couple years of Pap smears, which have been extended to what was in the past 1-2 years to now 3-5 years. If you pay insurance, and a hefty ass amount I might add, you deserve preventative care.

If women can be diagnosed with breast cancer in their early twenties, then that is when the preventative testing needs to start. It’s a no brainer. If you hold people accountable for having yearly checkups that can also factor into insurance. But the bottom line is, preventative health care is a far less cost burden than solving the health crisis after it has raged within.

I would liken cancer and other invasive illnesses to weeds. You have to hone your garden; make sure it’s clean; free of bugs, pesticides, and invasive species. Exactly like the human body. Insurance needs to be privatized in the same way schools do.

Provide each individual with a set amount of money, based on their contributions and they can select their own insurance company. By giving the money to the people and away from insurance companies we will create a competitive health economy. Where costs will be driven down, because they will need to compete for care. There should also be a government mandate related to healthcare, like property taxes. You can only raise amounts by a certain percentage each year, mandated by the gov.

This is the answer…or at least a starting place.
